UltraRecall also works on an USB key.

I think that the program mentioned here was WhizFolders though, as far as I remember, how this is done is something that the developer must confide to you as the information is not publicly available for licensing reasons.

Other programs mentioned here in the past that can be installed to a USB key are Brainstorm and Goal Enforcer. Last but not least, I read a message by Tom Davis that Zoot can run from a USB key as well.
