I'm sort of surprised that Dave Winer hasn't bothered to note it in this discussion group, but Userland's Radio is now out of beta and has been officially released. It's free for use as an outliner and "personal web server," but a five-connection limit precludes its deployment as an internet server for reaching a wide community. A forthcoming commercial release will lift the cap.

Ben, it's not about "bothering" -- I just wanted to be sure the software is ready for outliner users. I'm not entirely sure that it is. It's configured as a web server and news-gatherer, so if you download it expecting it to be MORE or Grandview, you might be in for a shock. On the other hand, if you choose File/New it will open an outline, and it works like MORE, except it allows multiple summits. It's a very rich piece of software. Outlining is just one of the things it does. That should help set expectations. ";->"
