I must be missing something profound. I’ve run Grandview on everything from DOS to Windows 2000, without any real problems. I just go on using the program files I built long ago (with a character substitution of a paragraph sign for the ! and a section sign for the @, since I’m a lawyer and need such stuff) and my HP3 printer driver (which still works on every HP printer I can find, including my new HP 4050N). My Windows NT and Windows 2000 desktop icons were created simply by dragging my old DOS batch file for running in the 50-line format onto the desktop). The only problems I ever have is network printing, where I have to make sure, whenever I get a new printer at the office, that it’s given a DOS device name (8 letters) on the network. But I still would like a good Windows outliner (but none of the pretenders have the “clone” feature which is indispensable, and I like the the simple macro utility in Grandview more user friendly than complicated macro programs).
