I agree with your comments. It was a calculated risk for Neil to release a buggy beta version, but many of us DID want to get a look at the interface. Releasing an early copy might benefit us all by letting us give him feedback (in my case, that would be rejecting everything that emphasizes changing fonts to pink and Times Roman versus olive green and Garamond). The last time I talked to Neil, he was writing the program using Delphi, a pascal-based object-oriented program. That sounds like a real challenge to me, but if the first version works well enough to make some money, he might be able to get a programmer to do it in C++.
At any rate, I’m pleased to be able to actually SEE a beta version and a web site (once again) devoted to MaxThink.
