I wrote with MORE non-stop from April 1987 until my old Mac SE finally kicked the bucket many years later. I've occasionally messed with other outliners, but (as you guys obviously know) nothing else really came close. Recently I've been thinking about trying a Palm outliner, and stumbled across this group in my searches. I still haven't decided what to use for the Palm -- I'll deal with that once I've read through the archives -- but I'm really tickled to learn that MORE is still kicking, and that there are people around who are still interested in outliners.

I've been disappointed with most of the Palm outliners, from the standpoint that I want an outliner that runs on a PC (or Mac, or Linux box, or whatever) and syncs to a Palm device.

The Palm outliners I like generally don't have a PC companion piece I like, or if they do, it's so lame as to be nearly worthless, and the synchronization process is a hassle. (BrainForest)

I don't recall the names of all the packages, but I've tried most of the Palm outliners out there. I have been using Ecco Pro for a number of years to manage my notes and to-do's, and while it "sort of" syncs with a Palm, there are some warts with the process.
