Here's an idea, if more can be rewritten for the 3com palm pilot, I would gladly part with my money to buy it. I am using brainforest and the interface is not intuitive, and since it is version 1, it seems quite "rough" around the edge.

I haven't seen BrainForest (but I'll go have a look--somewhere simple like brainforest.com?). However, I think that MORE would need a great deal of adaptation to work well in the much more constrained environment that the Palm Pilot offers. That said, there are a lot of very useful features in MORE that I too would like see available in a Palm outliner. .../dave

There's been some discussion on the Palmac list, and here's a comment of interest:
I'd be very tempted to write a More 3.1 to BrainForest conduit, if the
More 3.1 file format was made available.

I'm a big fan of FMSync, and I imagine that Mr. Tsuk could do a swell job. Food for thought.

I tried Brainforest as well as others (Outliner 1.3) for the Palm Pilot but found ThoughtMill by HandsHigh Software to be my outliner of choice for my Pilot. ThoughtMill has the ability to drag and drop outlines, as well as collapse and expand, with an intuitive interface. The data can be exported to a memo which can then be easily, after synchronization cut and pasted into a document on your laptop or desktop.
You can find it at either Pilotgear (www.pilotgear.com) or on the Hands High site (www.handshigh.com).
