And the calendar allowed you to have DDMMYY which is the format used in this forsaken part of the world. So many programs in those days had hard-coded US-style formats. Giving the user the choice is what the Mac always have been about, imho. Well, today, I don’t really know. At least we get a choice in colors on the hardware.
But my chief happiness from using MORE stems from the excellent outliner and the stability. This program almost never crash. And it was snappy even using it on a 8 MHz Mac 512Ke. OK, fairly snappy. I get carried away by all this reminiscing.
Incidentally it was also the first application using COLOR on the Mac. I remember when the Mac II came out in 1987, MacWeek had a screen shot showing MORE 1.1c which could change the color on text and window backgrounds.
