Outliners with web access

Glad to see this discussion forum - I bemoaned the death of PC-Outline many years ago, went to Polaris PackRat(ouch) and then on to Ecco(great!) Of course all of these have been bought out and crushed. Sometimes I use Word or MS Project just for outlining but this seems overkill!

The most intuitive interface for me was PC-Outline - very simple and seemed to have enough customization for organize my life(KISS). I've found if I can't describe/categorize what I am trying to say in an outline (perhaps with 'multiple inheritance' or links), it's probably not very well defined.

I am looking for an Outliner that will allow me to update via a web browser and could, optionally, also synch with a Palm.

The in-beta version of PC Outline for Windows is an OLE client, so I suppose if you could just treat a URL as an object that could invoke a browser as an OLE server, you'd have web-enabled outlining.

Also I'd like to second Roger's advocacy of Palm synching. I wouldn't care to have to compose a whole outline on a PP, but I'd certainly love to be able to use one. And do minor updates. Given PC Outline's traditional 64K limit versus the PP's megabytes, storage capacity shouldn't be a barrier.
