I live in Grandview, but an office conversion to Windows NT will probably scuttle my ship unless I can persuade my ITS folks to support DOS programs (doable in NT, I’m told, but a hassle). Never used the categories, etc. bells & whistles in Grandview, but I’m addicted to the “cloning” feature—the ability to copy a heading to multiple other locations in an outline so that editing it one place changes all the copies at once (“live link” might be a more of-the-moment phrasing). The basic outline functions are essential, of course, and I value (but could probably live without) the flexible outline styles and decently good formatting capabilities. Anyone know a workable Windows substitute? (Obviously, a viable way to export/import from Word, even through .rtf, would really light my fire.)
