I have downloaded the program, and written my comments back to Peter as my first outline. The program is very similar to PC-Outline so far as I can see. That is great if you are familiar with PC-Outline and used to using it, but there may be limitations if you are used to ACTA, Thinktank, More etc or even Grandview. A lot of this is about what you are used to. Actually, I would love to see some comments from someone who is knowledgeable about each of the programs that address the differences and similarities, the pros and cons of each of the main programs mentioned here.
For example, I like the numerical hierarchical structure in PC-Outline that can be designed anyway you want it. Jera for example doesn’t seem to have that.
While there are clearly some things that can be improved in the PC-Outline for Windows (remember it is an early Beta version) I think that the guys have done a great job and deserve all our support.
