I have them, and I have used/tried them ALL, but MORE is superior. ThinkTank, Acta, Three by Five, InfoDepot (FairWitness) all are now gone. All new versions of MSWords outliner was eagerly tested but no. The only good new comber that shows potential, i think, is the Mac client to BrainForest for the Palm Pilot. If I had to keep only one software on my Mac it would be MORE.

More 3.1.2 ?

I have on my desk the original 3.1 but also a set of an 'unofficial' release called 3.1.2 that I received from the Swedish Symantech. This was to fix some incompatibility with newer Macs (I think) they are dated '20 dec - 1991' The application is one byte larger (expanded).

Does anyone remember what the fix was? And if it is useful I would be glad to send them for posting.

I don't recall what exactly changed, although I do recall having made a fix or two after 3.1 shipped. We typically did a separate release for localization that had some minor differences -- usually related to preferences such as units, etc. That would affect compression as well.

The December 1991 timeframe sounds right for the International release.

Was this Swedish build an English version?
