ADM 4 beta is not a perfect program. It has glitches. It is taking a long time to develop it, but on the other hand it is being done on a shoe string.
We’ve heard some pretty negative comments, and Stephen and I could argue for days without resolving anything. We’ve heard from Dominic, a heavy-duty ADM business who wrote: “I am using ADM on a daily basis, even the beta versions. Despite there are some known glitches and bugs it is stable and I can use it for my daily business work. As you might know, I am using ADM for project, task and file management. Further, it fits perfectly to my requirements to develop a draft and ourline for a document (software manuals, concept etc.).”
What I’d suggest is people try ADM 4 beta out for themselves. There is some learning curve, but I think you’ll find it offers a combination of features that is interesting and unique. Glitches are being worked out, and anyone can join the open ADM group by posting to
or going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ADM_fans/ . Posts to the group regarding glitches are usually responded to quickly by either Eric, the developer, or Jan, the list owner.
