I’m confused. There are keystrokes available for MM outlines (such as enter, shift-enter, and insert) to add new topics. As far as moving topics within the outline, I personally prefer drag/drop over keystrokes moves.

I’m not defending MM for its outstanding outlining capabilities btw, but I wasn’t sure what shortcomings you were referring to.
