"In-line text" in MindManager

I wonder if a MindManager user could settle the question of what outlining features the product actually has--can you do everything that you do in the diagram in the outline, like you pretty much can in Inspiration? Also, if MM now has in-line body text, how does it incorporate that feature? Does it do it the way Inspiration's outliner does?

Once I get a JCVGantt problem fixed (it developed after I installed MM6 over MMX5), I'll play with the new MM6 outlining features and report back. Give me a week or two ...

Other responses are also welcome of course!

Stephen,

The outline in MM6 pro is largely unuseable as an outliner, you can certainly drag brabches around and you can edit text, but there are no key strokes available for any actions, which makes it a non-starter for me.

MM promote as a tool for seeing your map in an outline view to make minor adjustments to the outline before exporting it as an outline to Word.

I think that the Outliner in Inspiration is "just" good enough to use as an Outliner, where as the Outliner in MM6 doesn't make it.

It is none the less much more useful than the Outliner in MM5, which as I remember was simply an Outline view.
