Have you looked at PowerDesk, my file manager of choice for many years?

It was first developed by Mijenix who also developed ZipMagic. A very confusing corporate history followed.

Mijenix sold to Ontrack Data who in turn sold to V-com. Their latest version is at http://www.v-com.com/product/PowerDesk_Pro_Home.html.

To make matters more confusing, the original makers re-entered the field (Novatix.com) and produced their own alternative called Explorer Plus. See http://www.sendphotos.com/Products/ExplorerPlus/. However, it isn’t being developed much and I’ve stayed with the VCom version.

PowerDesk is an excellent product and is IMHO good value for money.
