Graham, it sounds like wjj has been very busy. It interests me the emphasis on such things as multi-window capability, more than one data base open at a time, and symbolic link (which sounds to me like cloning, if I am correct)—all of which suggest he sees Mybase evolving as an information management, writing/editing tool.
When I got into the PC world four years ago, I used Mybase, then Treepad, in that order, then it was a while with InfoSelect for a while, a longer and happier time with Ariadne, then ADM, MDEInfoHandler, and less recently and not as consistently Ultra Recall.
I have long felt Mybase had unrealized potential in a couple of directions: it could have gone into the web publishing area whole hog as Henk has taken Treepad, turning its back on info management per se, or it could go more into info mmanagement. I think wjj has made his choice clear.
