As it not might surpeise you, I did look at this, but it really is well over the top. I just want something that will make it easier for me, and others, to manage a collection of reports and rapidly find and collate information while writing a summary of the reports and pulling the data out for a combined analsyis of the results.

Personally, I have found sevral work arounds, with AskSam strangely the best one, as I can easily open the original files from AskSam to look at the original documents. It is a solution for people who don’t have the original documents where it is proving more difficult.

For different reasons edocplus looks interesting. I have used TimeMatters and PaperPort for this in the past, but neither were that satisfactory.
