I have actually thought of this, but I am not sure exactly how I do it. MyBase and AskSam will allow you to capture web pages, but AskSam imports web pages as text and Mybase doesn’t import them at all.

I can obviously open them up indovidually in a browser, but that doesn’t help me with the rapid browsing across files and searching across files. If you stick with MS

MyBase already imports the Word files as RTF files I think and most of the time this is fine other than the occasional mucked up table and this grinding to a halt if there are even modest sized graphics in a file. I did think Mybase was a solution at one time

Now that I’ve gone back to AskSam I am having other problems with it, and for my own use, I have been looking at UltraRecall again, but my trial has expired :-(

I know I am looking for a very specific application, but this is really frustrating me as to how difficult this is becomimg.

Thanks for your suggestion, I agree with you that html sows some promise, if I can work out how to implement it.
