Yeah Write would probably never be the word processor you’d use for long, complex documents (no matter how much development it underwent). But as the place to dash off a memo or letter, it was very handy. Its folder/document list organizing structure made it easy to keep all your documents in their place and find them for reference afterward.
Its drawbacks (for me) were its less than agile editor (no extended selection) and the clunky method for adding text enhancements like boldface and italic. Of course, many current word processors suffer from these same issues.
