So long as they are not trying to use the APA “book section” form of reference for chapters in edited books, BiblioExpress is probably OK. Unfortunately, however, the APA style has a glitch that is apparently hard-coded into BE. The designer has promised a complete updating of BE once Biblioscape v7 is completed.
Basically, the problem is that although references pertaining to book chapters [e.g., Bloggs, B. and Hogarth, P. (1938) “Cutting-edge developments.” Pp.34-47. In: P. Pan and D. Duck (eds.) Modern Psychology. Berlin: Sprong] can be correctly entered into BiblioExpress using their “book section” input format, the APA-style output for this reference is (more-or-less):
Bloggs, B. and Hogarth, P. (1938) Modern Psychology. Berlin: Sprong
Rather annoying… The other output styles seem to work OK AFAIK, however.
