I bought TexNotes Professional mainly because of one of its feature, called Notebook. I quote:

‘Notebooks is another productive item found in TexNotes Pro, and is located in the Outline tree view. Notebooks serve as item holders so you can keep yourself organized. The items that are located inside (one level) under the Notebook are visually available on the Notebook canvas.

Cells represent the items under the notebook and these cells can be moved and sized around the Notebook canvas. Think of it like a virtual desktop. Instead of having a cluttered desk of yellow sticky notes and fax papers, you can have your notes neatly contained within virtual Notebooks.’

However, getting the program is terribly complicated. First I have to pay—of course—but then I was waiting several hours for the download link sent by email, and when I got it, the download page was not accessible until the next day, and even after that the program had to be ‘activated’ using the Internet! Too much caution, to say it politely…
