MORE and OS 9

Just to let all those interested the MORE 3.1 works wonderfully on my iMac and Mac OS 9.0.4.
One of the best uses I've found for MORE is as a replacement for Persuasion, another program that's been orphaned.
MORE allows exporting of slides into PICT format, something that no other outliner I've seen recently does. It is then a simple matter to have a film recorder process these files. Of course, on screen slide shows are simple as well. Who needs PowerPoint or Persuasion?!

I agree completly with the sentiments of this user. However, on a windows based system, More is not availabe to substitute.
One PowerPoint feature that allows a similar solution is to save PowerPoint presentations as a HTML file. This will save copies of each files as jpegs which can then be used as described.
Of course, most film recoreds come with a printer drivers so you could use MORE, PowerPoint, etc to print to the film recorder the slide presentation and you don't need PICT files.
btw: Andy: Which version of Persuasion are you using? I am looking to get a copy of version 4 which had both Mac and Windows versions on the Cd?
Adobe/Aldus no longer has any copies of the Replacment CD.
