In Control 4.03 is the best outliner I have ever used. It's database & calendar features only made it better as an overall organizer.
A friend of mine once told me he had organized ALL of the information in his life in an outliner--it was ThinkTank. I didn't believe this was possible until I tried IC.
I hope that the current owners of IC (Attain Corp is now defunct) will make it available. I've used it under OS 9, but some users have reported that the alarm function. Amazingly, for a program from the early 80's, IC had document & URL linking. It was incredibly fast, even on a PB 180, and it fitted onto one floppy. It must be a tour de force of programming.
I am, somewhat sadly, replacing In Control with Idea Keeper

I agree with you. In Control is brilliant.
I have been using it nearly every day for many years. I now use it on my Mac G 4 with System 9, and I am not experiencing any problems. (I have not been using the alarm function though).
But why are you replacing it if it is the best outliner you have ever used?

Where can one get hold of InControl ? I'm extremely happy with MORE - but always curious. What sort of function do you have in InControl MORE does'nt have (I always thought more was prety much the most full-featured program of its kind.
