Which ones have you tried?

I have used Active Words and Macro Express and both are reasonably heavy on resources. Active Words more so as it has three programs running.

The only other one I am aware of is Autokey http://www.autohotkey.com/.

However, I see from a web search that there are dozens of such programs so I too will be interested in any thing that you find.
