Alx,

I think you maybe missed the bit about needing to copy and paste which really knocks Directory Opus out, but clipmate looks a serious contender, it also supports OLE. It used to be the first program I installed on a new PC, but I haven’t used it for a while.

At the moment, MyInfo that both you and Steve suggested is looking good. I cannot believe how fast it is. And its low on resources so no concerns about it running all the time. But Clipmate is a seriously useful program, I gave it up when I started to use Zoot.
