Yes, I’m sorry to have just dropped that comment without explanation. I find the whole interface overly complicated and non-intuitive. I know you can adjust it so there are not as many windows open, but it seems like every time I switch from database to database, the interface changes. Then there is the whole issue of multiple databases themselves and how they work, needing additional instances of the program running… I don’t like the fact that several of the tree nodes cannot be deleted or hidden (although this is true in Zoot as well, but the other strengths of Zoot make up for this). I find the item attributes window especially complicated on non-intuitive for me.
These are not criticisms of the program, but an acknowledgment that they just don’t work for me. I have to stop and think about everything I do in UR and that inhibits my use of it. I admire the power of the program and its quality. I still use UR to save web pages (and the new feature in 1.4 really helps this too). I suspect part of my problem is that I use Zoot too. Both do a lot of the same things but in completely different ways, and I’m accustomed to Zoot.
