Yes, I agree, and I admit to having repeatedly been part of this attitude; I actually find it a part of the beauty of this forum.

Frankly, I’ve tried to participate in sophisticated” forums such as http://www.powertoolsforum.com/ but I find them virtually too rigid; by virtually I mean that in practice people still often wander away from the original theme.
Isn’t it interesting, for example, that suggestions for new software have been copied here from theoretically “focused” forums such as Zoot’s or Literary Machine’s?
In any case, many such forums are there already and I am sure that a significant number of us participate in some of those that are compatible with our interests as well.
Frankly, all I would like is a solution to this forum’s disappearing attitude; other than that, I wouldn’t object to additional features as long as it doesn’t mean more work!
