Steve,
Thanks for your most welcome post. Over the months I’ve read though many posts here and have real trouble trying to get a clear picture of what an outliner really is and what folks are looking for. Terms like “mark and gather” and “hoist” are used and I don’t know what they mean.

Wouldn’t it be great of the collective knowledge and wisdom of the group was used to specify in some detail what you would like to see in a modern day outliner. Then just maybe it could get built.
