The user interface with any program is very important. I believe one of the reasons I’ve never taken to IH is its interface. I agree with Neville that it seems clunky and dated. However, I also must say that a program that you come to love and use faithfully (for me, Zoot) can have a charm all its own. I actually like the Zoot interface now, though I can surely appreciate that for new users it can look like a nightmare. All in all, I think it behooves a developer to create an attractive and welcoming interface, though function should not be sacrificed to do so.
