I did keep a copy of the following reply - the only one of my three w/e posts now missing.

Daly, Thanks for the reply.
Programs that seem dated and/or clumsy to me are: Zoot, Keynote, ADM (I couldn’t begin to wrap my brain around it), Infohandler (I couldn’t get the new .Net one to work), Notebox Disorganizer, TakeNote! 2.0 (you can’t buy it!), Personal Knowbase (horrible UI), Grandview, MORE etc. etc.
Re. Surfulater. I did respond here re. you installing some beta software which broke IE. The developers of the beta product should really be responsible for resolving this. If you want to e-mail me a screen shot of Surfulater showing the problem I’d be happy to try and help further.
Surfulater has only three gathering options available from within IE or Firefox which are:
1) Surfulater: Add new Article - Which adds a new article containing the selected text and images plus, the corresponding web page title, a thumbnail image of the web page and a link to the web page
2) Surfulater: Add Article plus Page - as above plus save the entire Web page.
3) Surfulater: Attach Page to Article - saves the current Web page and adds it to the current Surfulater article.
These are described in the “Quick Start Guide” in the Help. I hope that helps.
