A Brief Question about Firefox Browser

Could someone tell me whether there's a way to do anything with the tabs in Firefox so they don't endlessly shrink if you have many open? I have the Tab Browser Preferences extension, but it doesn't seem to supply any options along that line.

"Tabbrowser Extensions" allows one to change a number of tab features, including maintaining the tab at a fixed size. See: http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/tabextensions/index.html.en
I have been using this extension for some time now, and it seems reasonably stable, despite the settled disdain of FF designers for it (they always recommend the extension you are currently using as being more elegant and stable). TBE has quite possibly the most complete set of options that I have ever seen in a FF extension.
