Wojciech,
I actually bought Mybase a few years ago and liked it for a while, but as with all tree-based organizers, I became disenchanted by the clutter that accumulates as you add items. Generally, it is a solid tree-based organizer.
I have never tried netXtract. I will have to take a look at it.
I have tried and been impressed by EverNote. In some ways (notably the auto assignment to folders) it replicates Zoot’s functions. I like the rolling tape metaphore, and the fact that there is a free version is great too. But I was put off some by the interface, which seems clunky to me, so I never really took to the program. I suspect if I would work with it for a while, I would grow to appreciate it.
BTW, one program that I’m using that I failed to mention is OneNote. I think it is a wonderful program all in all, though it has some glaring weaknesses (clunky editing, feeble exporting, no tables, for instance). I don’t use it at my office, because my agency won’t buy it, but I do use it for personal projects on my home and laptop computers, for which I’ve purchased a license.
