MS Word Outline verses MORE

I read the recent post about using MS WORD in outline form. I tried that yesterday at a workshop I facilitated and it went OK but clearly my skills or the features are no where near what my favourite outline MORE 3 has.

My major problem is that I am a MORE fan since version 1 and, until recently, a MAc user.

My new workplace is a huge organisation with a Windows network and I have no option other than to use Wintel tools.

I have downloaded ThinkTank (and thanks to thsoe who made it available) but I am DOS illiterate and cannot drive the program.

I want and need the features of MORE to do my work. (After 10 years of running community workshops with MORE I know what works for me)

Why is it not possible for 'someone' to port MORE from a macOS platform to a Windows95 OS platform ? I would be willing to purchase a copy and there must be other MORe customers out there how haven't discovered a replacement even half as good?

Any suggestions on how I can get the benefits of MORE on a PC?

Regards

I too am constricted to use of a PC, running Win NT4.0. I have used "Inspiration" and "Frontier" in an attempt to duplicate "More", but am not satisfied with either. I don't understand why Symmantec doesn't port it over to PC. I know there are LOTS of people who would buy it.
I know little about programming. I am assuming the "antique releases" of ThinkTank and More are the compiled versions. If Symmantec is giving up on More, is it possible to get the pre-compiled files to have someone deconstruct the program and re-engineer it for the PC?
