I don’t think anyone has decribed these GV features in detail before on this forum. Thanks for reminding me. I’ve only ever used the outlining features of GrandView, though I know that it was marketed as a PIM.

I’m just about to start a new project in which I plan to use Brainstorm and GV together. I’ll give categories and assignments a whirl while I am about it. Now that you have pointed it out, it looks as if these features might be very powerful. Have you used them as part of the writing process itself - that is apart from their use for project planning and other PIM activites? If so, I’d be very interested to know how.
