Daly, thanks for the clarification. On a more general note, wouldn’t you agree that our needs and preferences are diverse and constitute different requirements for our information management and writing tools?

I have the impression that the search for single Ultimate Tools has lead to Microsoft bloatware which, admittedly, can be very capable, but nevertheless often represents a sledgehammer approach to insect extermination.

Sorry to sound such a hard realist; I may add that I would be glad to participate and contribute in any such project, provided it includes some initial “market research” on what people desire. That is actually one reason I had written on the Ceryle project in the past.
