I am still trialling it, but i have found that the latest MindManager, vsersion 6, with its editable outliner, is really a formidable tool - as seen as part of the whole package and process, of course, and recognizing it as a two-pane outliner. And i can only imagine the outliner getting better from here. Definitely some nice changes for people who like a mix between a traditional outliner and visual mappers; the way it can represent things visually - while falling short of concept maps - has greatly expanded, including org charts and others, under one easy to manage roof. Definitely a “power outliner”...with a powerful price, though…
