I downloaded MaxThink yet again, but it was one time two many. My trial is over, so I can’t answer. Your problems, however, have a very familiar ring.

I’ve gathered that the developer sees himself as selling a service, kind of like being an adviser on the thinking process. So, he might not be that interested in people using the program without tutoring.
