This procedure, though, can be substantially simulated in BrainStorm already. Create your bins at the top of the screen and split the screen so the bins are in the top portion. Then go through the topics, dragging each to the appropriate bin. A little bit more onerous than pushing one key, but the same number of operations.

The more unique combination of “focused” outlining and a traditional hierarchy isn’t discussed in the brief document you referenced.
