I haven’t made any direct comparisons, but from what I understand, it is mainly speed.

Having said that, I’m not sure how Copernic and Google deal with text in image based PDFs. DTsearch has a built in OCR program so it still manages to search image based PDFs. Not everything does.

Having said that DTSearch is lots of money.
