Wojciech,
I have used Literary Machine (I bought a license a few years ago). It is a somewhat confounding application. As you are probably aware, you create note cards that are cataloged by keywords (I think LM calls them dictionary words). The keywords can also be grouped into concepts. It also provides the ability to create an outline, as well as to group items by projects. It is all so complex and really somewhat baffling to me. I was able to use it, I just didn’t understand the benefits of all this categorization. In my opinion, Zoot is a far superior product. From the discussion I’ve seen at the LM Yahoo Forum, it also seems as if the developer is having a crisis as to what direction to take the program. Most recently, he seems to have spent a lot of time giving LM the ability to create e-books. There is a free version of LM. It is actually a better program to my way of thinking because it is much more focussed.
If you like the idea of this much categorization, I would also suggest you look into InfoHandler, which seems to have a much more sane approach.
