Great posts, Greg. Nice to see honest, straightforward explanations from a CEO. I can’t see a large market for outliners, either. What does an outliner do? Allow you to move text around and organize it a little more easily. Some see value in that. Most don’t, and I can understand why they don’t. That said, I can’t see why your product is priced at $150 when its core functionality can be reproduced in Word (see, for example, http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html). It seems way overpriced given its benefits.
