Still on the theme of free software, here’s a nice story.

I had an email from Iaresearch yesterday offering me a discount coupon for JcvGanttPro. I replied that I wasn’t able to use the coupon as I’d already purchased it (in a bad attack of crimp fever).

When I logged on this morning I found that they had sent me a complimentary licence for the MindManager to Excel add-in.

I’m impressed! Obviously their emails are not just automated marketing communications.

I like what I see so far with JCVGanttPro. I can run files seamlessly from ProjectKickstart to MindManager (both ways) to JCVGanntPro to Excel.

In fact my software integration is becoming so prevalent that I’m going to map out the various paths as a way of re-examining my own personal work flow. The possibilities seem almost endless.
