Yes and no; I have ended up with Outlook as an intermediary connecting the actual programs I’d like to use; I have not abandoned my search for focused applications.
Therefore, one of the features I am looking for in the programs I test is Outlook synchronization / integration.
For example, even though I liked Plan for Windows and Adept Tracker, I won’t be buying any of them as they can only exchange files with MS Project. I will be looking at BrainTool’s A-Plan again though, as it can synchronise with Outlook.
