I believe you’re right, Alexander. Tom Davis has really thought this through. My experience with Zoot tends to be this: Every time I think of some new thing I’d like to be able to do with Zoot, it turns out, that function is already built into the program. All I have to do (and this can be a bit tricky) is figure out how to do it.
I kind of think of Tom Davis as a mad scientist who created an amazing machine that only he knows all the secrets to. Dials and levers and buttons and toggle switches, light bulbs flashing on and off, steam issuing from pipes, bolts of electricity arching from one pole to another. Instead of animating a corpse, Tom’s machine brings my information to life.
