Graham,
You wrote: [I just cannot give up on TimeTo (A&B as was). In spite of some limitations, I have never come across any time management tool that comes close to TimeTo for helping me keep track of how busy I am and how busy I am likely to be in the future.]
In your download.com review of the program you note (in the cons section): [The developer is actively working on all of the points raised below so when you read this, these cons may already be out of date.]
TimeTo was posted to download.com in Nov’04 and is (still) in version 1.0. I was wondering whether you have any information on its development. The main thing I’m concerned with is this (again from the cons section).
[Limited project planning tools, there is an outline view that shows tasks linked to projects, but this needs expanded to allow projects/tasks to be fully edited, added and re-structured.]
On the other hand, I can understand that a task management program may not be concerned with projects at all; task breakdown can be done in the main project outliner, i.e. MS Project, Freemind, Brainstorm, Excel or whatever, so one ends up with a flat/prioritised list of tasks that can then be dealt with accordingly.
Stephen,
As someone who has expressed his interest in the past in automated, rule-based, task management, you may want to take a look at TimeTo:
