This is a snippet of the newsletter from Eastgate I received this morning:
"And Before You Ask...
---------------------
Yes -- Tinderbox for Windows is coming along. We're hard at work.
We're making good progress every day.
We're not there yet. But there will be lots more news, soon.
We're keeping a little black book of people who want to hear about
Tinderbox for Windows at the earliest possible moment. If you're not
already on that list, and you want to be, just email
bernstein@eastgate.com and say:
I can't wait for Tinderbox for Windows!"
This sounds much better and promising than everything I have heard (or not heard) from them before.

Hi Dominik.
I also found the newsletter in my mailbox a few minutes ago and had just copied the snippet to paste it here - when I saw your message :-)
I find it very promising, too.
Bye, Franz

Great news!
I sent the e-mail ;)
Tinderbox is a MacOS "gem".
I would switch only for these two apps!
Here is a great blog about switching to Mac from a writer perspective:

Oops, I forgot the end of my post!
Up to me, the second Mac gem is Mellel, see it here:
http://www.redlers.com/mellelscreenshots.html
Here is a review:
http://www.davidhewson.com/index.php/blogs/C56/
BTW, I'd be interested in a CopyWrite review :
http://www.bartastechnologies.com/products/copywrite/
Or if anyone has tested it...
There are so much "creativity-ware" for Mac users
... and I'm stucked with MS Word on Windows :(
Sebastien
@Alexander: DevonThink seems just "too big" to me, features are endless... but it looks very powerfull.

Hi Franz,
I didn't realize that Ulysses was so powerfull!
I can't wait to use it!
For version control, I use Changes Saver:
http://www.enins.com/changessaver/
And to split chapter, I use my own Chapter by Chapter:
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/sebastien.berthet/cbc/
But it would be better to have all in 1 app:
- word processor
- version control
- outline and anotations
and Ulysses seems to be the best software on earth to do that!
About Zoot, I only use outliners in a very "common" way, so Treepad is enough to me. What's the equivalent on the Mac side ?
