Friends,I see some conversations here that interest me. Rather than raise topics already explored I'd like to begin by searching the archives. However, I can't seem to find a way to search existing posts for topics. Is there a way?

Hi Bob.

However, I can't seem to find a way to search existing posts for topics. Is there a way?

I am afraid there isn¥t.

The only viable way is going to Google and add the "site:www.outliners.com" parameter. E.g.

"Ecco site:www.outliners.com"

to search the Outliners.com site for "Ecco".

Bob,

Go to google, choose advanced search, and look down the page a bit until you see the heading "Domain" make sure the next box along says "only" and then type "outliners.com/discuss" into the next box along.

Then just go back up the page and type in your search terms.

If you use MSIE and install the Google tool bar, then there is an option to "search Current site" from within the tool bar.

As far as I am aware this is the only way to search this forum.
