Hi.
>I have been waiting for Tinderbox for Windows for two years now.
So have I :-)
>I will test it but it will by quite pricy: $145 to buy a licence and $70/year for free upgrades. I am hoping for a special introduction offer for the windows version…
I also hope for a special offer for current users.
BTW: From time to time, Eastgate drops the price for a few days. I bought my copy for $95 (that was an offer I could not resist).
>My first impression on Tinderbox is that it is a mix of Zoot/ADM/InfoSelect/MindManager/TheBrain. Please correct me if I am wrong.
It¥s a mix of these tools but - due to the agent feature - much, much more. However, it lacks the fast search of Infoselect (you can search, off course, but that does not come close to IS¥s Search feature) and it does not automatically categorize items (but you can set up an agent to do something like that). And I do not know how it handles really huge info bases.
