>I think this is why I have a fondness for Personal Knowbase from Bitsmith (http://www.bitsmithsoft.com). I don’t use it much except for special purposes, but there is something enticing in its simplicity. You might think of it as a lite version of MDE InfoHandler, as it uses keywords to index all its entries. Unlike IH, Personal Knowbase only allows for one dimensional keyword indexing. A new version is scheduled for release in the next month or so, and I’m hoping the new features will entice me to use PKB more than I do.<
I wonder if you or anyone else has compared the keyword process in PKB to ndxCards.
The next version of Personal Knowbase seems to be mainly about security and hyperlinking.
I doubt PKB will ever be getting hierarchical keywords, because users like the randomness of the keywords as a spur to seeing new connections.
