I recently saw this; are you happy with it? I’m beginning to think that Outlook’s omnipresence as a platform might be a good reason to have it around even if I never use its native interface.

I think that IDEA! is much closer to a Zoot replacement, even if it doesn’t have automatic categorisation or any kind of auto/magic paste(yet). Some of its really strong points are import/export, attachment support and filtered views to mention but a few.

I haven’t tried them at all, or its mind map components; in any case, if you already have SmartDraw I think there’s no reason to get ConceptDraw.

...not to mention the various available plug-ins and compatible software. Anyway, I decided to stay out of mindmapping altogether for anything other than presentation purposes, with the exception of Freemind which is simplicity itself.

Your persistence and your download.com review of it are actually the main reason I will try it eventually!
